We know how far people would go to lose weight (surgery), to get their 15 minutes of fame (celebrity sex scandals hello), or to stay young (ergo, the quest for the fountain of youth).
But just how far would you go to stay alive?
In various parts of the world, people would go to lengths just to stay alive, feed their children and survive another day. It’s sad how these things happen, and how some people dismiss these things as urban legends, when the players in those “legends” are real.
Missing Eyes, Missing Kidneys.
An urban legend tells the tale of missing children who would later be found in fields, with their eyes and kidneys missing. But it’s no urban legend. It IS happening. With the huge demand for internal organs, and the long waiting time for an organ donor, it’s no wonder these kinds of crimes are perpetuated.
In third world countries , there have been reports of children found in isolated areas without their hearts or eyes and other internal organs that can be sold to black markets - and what’s even sadder is that sometimes it’s the parents who would sell their kid’s organs just to have money to tide them over. Worse, some would be found with money lodged in their mouth or in their body with a note “please bury”.
Would you buy an organ from these black markets if it meant saving your loved one’s life? Someone else’s life for yours. Think about it for a moment.
Child Trading
Imagine a young, vibrant child. Full of life, hope, innocence.
Now imagine them in dark, dingy cells waiting for a pimp to pull them out of their hellhole - only to be brought to even worse hell, in the arms of an older person itching to get their hands on them. In order to stay alive, these children(the younger they are, the better) are forced to work as sex slaves, while their parents who bore them into this world have no choice but to fork them over to those pimps or syndicates.
How about the newest slave trade in the UK ? African boys are sold like they you were haggling in the market. “You can have my sons for 5000, while 2,500 for just one”. Hoping for better life for their children, they are in fact raised to be household help; at the age of 7 they are no longer sent to schools and forced to work for 18 hours a day.
“Some of the children are also subjected to physical and sexual abuse, while others even find themselves accused of being witches and become victims of exorcism rites in “traditional” African churches in Britain.”
All for money, all to stay alive. Can you blame them?
Forced to include their babies in vaccine testing
Babies. Aren’t they cute? In Buenos Aires, 12 babies died due to a clinical study to test the effectiveness of a vaccine against pneumonia. Officials say these 12 are a small figure compared to the 15,000 who’ve undergone the procedure. But if you were the parent of that child, pressured and forced into signing consent forms, would you accept that your child be reduced to just a number? According to reports, the lab pays $8000 per child. If you try to leave, you are threatened NOT to receive any other vaccines your baby might need in the future.
Whether you want go as far as selling your own limbs to stay alive, or perhaps buy your own kidney via the black market in order to save the life of your loved one is your choice. This is by no means to make you feel guilty with the choices you’ve made in your life. After all, it’s human nature to try to survive.
So just how far would you go to stay alive?

This is discusting.
what is this world coming to
bunch of dumb fucks in this world i swear to god.
I have to agree with Jake, this is some sick shit. I would not sale my organs or parts of my body, I would find another way. And under NO CIMCUMSTANCES would I EVER sale my child!!!!!!!!! I would die first!
true…but you’ll never truly know how far your willing to go unless you find yourself in a similar situation
It is disgusting yeah, but its silly to say “what is this world coming to” as it was far more horrible before than it is now. These things are so small compared to what our world has seen during the last 2000 years (as in the holocaust and the hundreds if not thousands of other genocides). Getting better all the time.
a life of a human is no more important than the life of a rodent we are all disease ridden filthy infestations and honestly the world is better off without us
well..ill buy one… =/
Jake, don’t be so ignorant.
It might be nice to live in the western world, where medical centers, fresh food, hygienic living conditions. But if you ever lived in the conditions of the third world, then maybe you would understand some things are not the same.
Different cultures, beliefs and circumstances make people do things considered inhuman but you must realise, they don’t live like us. If getting food on the table for us means working 5 days a week, thats easy money
For them, they work for months straight in a field that isn’t even theirs, so they can feed their family for a little bit longer.
Don’t judge other countries because of things they have to do to maintain a somewhat lifestyle.
